PARROTS

What Parrots Eat

To keep a parrot healthy and active we need to know which food are best. Sunflower seeds are a perfect food for a parrot, but that alone does not provide a nutritional balance. Fruits and vegetables are also good. Some parrots tend to like melons, peaches, grapes, apples, cherries and strawberries. Parrots also love the tops of beets, carrots and radishes.

Keep in mind that like any other living organisms, if you feed a parrot healthy and nutritionally balance foods, you will have many years of love and enjoyment from this wonderful, attractive and very intelligent bird.
