Taipei, Taiwan

A short one-week trip gave us a chance to see some sights in and around the city of Taipei in northern Taiwan.. and sample some superb cuisine.

Taipei is of course a modern city, but we found the land around it to be surprisingly beautiful: with green hills and mountains, and several interesting places to visit hidden in countryside.
