Cloud forest

Clouds envelop much of the middle and upper slopes of Mount Kinabalu, and some of the montane and sub-alpine habitats are unique.

Many of the plant species found here, such as the pale-white flowering Leptospermum sp. seen below, are unique to the mountain.
